Care and washing tips for Boo
Our bibs are made from high-quality materials to ensure optimal protection and durability. To ensure you can enjoy them for a long time, we've compiled some tips for proper care and cleaning.
General care instructions
- Regular cleaning : It's not always necessary to put the bib in the washing machine after every use. Minor stains or food residue can be easily wiped away with a damp cloth. Make sure the bib is thoroughly dried after each cleaning to prevent odors and mold growth.
- Drying : Please avoid tumble drying to prevent material expansion or deformation.
Washing instructions
-
Pre-treat stains : For stubborn stains (e.g., from carrots, pumpkin, or tomato sauce), we recommend treating the stains with gall soap before washing. A mixture of water and baking soda can also help gently remove stains.
-
Soaking : If the stains are not treated immediately, you can soak the bib in warm water with a little vinegar or baking soda for about 30 minutes.
-
Washing : Wash the bib in the washing machine at a maximum of 60°C or 40°C, depending on the model, using a mild detergent. Please do not use fabric softener, as this can impair the bib's absorbency. You can find the temperature on the care label attached to the inside.
-
Drying in the sun : After washing, it's best to let the bib dry in the fresh air and sun. Sunlight acts as a natural stain remover and is especially helpful for stubborn carrot stains.
These care instructions will help extend the lifespan of your bibs and keep them in good condition. Should you have any questions or problems, we're happy to help!
